Kalanchoes have beautiful clusters of red flowers, but also come in a variety of colors. They are succulents, so be sure to care for them like a standard succulent. They are easy to rebloom if you are able to give them sufficient sunlight.
Amaryllis (Hippeastrum) have enormous flowers and put on quite a show. There are red varieties, but come in a large array of colors. Allow the leaves to ripen during the growing season. They require a dormant period of a few weeks before it can rebloom again.
Last, but not least, holiday cacti, such as Thanksgiving cactus and Christmas cactus, have beautiful red flowers and also come in other colors. They are easy to rebloom and can be very long-lived plants. They are actually true cacti, but they are jungle cacti and will grow on trees.
